Parque Melbourne Tops Out

On May 17th Hickory celebrated the official topping out of our magnificent Parque project on St Kilda Road with developers S P Setia, architects FKA and key project consultants and project management.

In what has become a new Hickory and Setia tradition a hibiscus tree, an olive tree and a eucalyptus were lifted onto the roof, signifying S P Setia’s Malaysian heritage, Hickory’s Greek roots and our home Australia. Michael Argyrou from Hickory, KW Choong from S P Setia and Karl Fender of FKA did the honours by ceremonially “planting” the trees.

An iconic residential development comprising 332 luxury apartments, Parque has been designed by Fender Katsalidis architects and features 2 iconic glass towers.

The Western tower fronting St Kilda Rd spans 11 levels, dipping to 8 levels in the centre to preserve views of the Shrine of Remembrance and the city, before rising to 19 levels on the recently topped out Eastern tower.

Parque is due for completion later this year. Click here to find out more about the Parque project and visit the Hickory Facebook page to see more from the official topping out.
