Hickory contracted to build luxury Parque development on St Kilda Road

Designed by Fender Katsalidis Architects, SP Setia’s Parque Apartments sit amid heritage listed elm trees and designer landscaped gardens.  Located on the corner of Moubray Street and St Kilda Road, it is one of the largest sites to be developed on the landmark Melbourne boulevard in recent years.

Hickory was awarded the Design and Construct contract for the high-profile project after a vigorously contested tender process. Presently completing SP Setia’s maiden Australian development, Fulton Lane, Malaysian developers SP Setia again chose Hickory for their second Melbourne project.

Parque comprises 332 luxury apartments set across 2 iconic glass towers of 11 and 19 levels, centrally connected by a private outdoor area on level 8.  Featuring extensive common areas including a 25-metre infinity pool, Shannon Bennett-designed kitchen, private library and function room, Parque’s treetop setting amongst 150 year old national trust elms and an acre of designer landscaped gardens secure its place as one of Melbourne’s future icons.

Hickory took possession of the site in October 2014, and project completion is due late 2016.
